Sade Adu is considered as one of the most influential British artists of the 80's and 90's and one of my personal favourites.
I wanted to re-think the album cover for the 1984 release of Smooth Operator, one of my favourite Sade singles and one of their most famous songs.
Using a simple colour palette of greys I used existing imagery and text to re-design this album cover for a modern audience.
